Pat Stebbins, founder of Brian’s Angels, and volunteer Nicole Semba talked with Great Day Connecticut on WFSB this week to promote the upcoming Angelfest on Saturday, August 18, 2024.

“For Brian’s Angels 5th annual Angelfest we have three bands onboard. Last year we had David Crosby’s guitarist Jeff Pevar! Jeff couldn’t make it this year as he’s playing Bethel-Woodstock with a new Crosby-Stills-Nash & Young band! This year we have NY blues hall of famer, the great Dave Fields from NYC. Dave’s drummer is Liviu Pop who is a real Count from Romania and renown session drummer. Dave Fields went through Berklee School of Music. Was the Band writer -director for the New Voices of Freedom who played with U2 and in U2’s movie- Rattle & Hum! He’s also worked with Aretha Franklin, Lenny Kravitz, Sean Lennon and many more legends. Dave is a must see Live performance!

We also have Righteous Continental Band along with Justin Chan and the Vices! 2 local bands featuring Blues and R&B tunes. The Righteous Continental band has guitar phenom Ryan Newman who’s becoming one of the best blues guitarists in New England! These guys are local favorites and have played before at previous Angelfests. It’s going to be 6 hours of great world-class musicians!

The healing power of the blues onboard to celebrate Brian’s Angels 9th anniversary serving the community!”
